Theme: Be Safe. Remind Them of These Things – This week, we revisit the profound truth of being God-dependent. Psalm 127:1–2 teaches that any work is in vain unless God is in it. Hard work alone will never be enough. The only effort worth pursuing is that which aligns with the will of God.
If God is absent, technology, political connections, financial resources, and manpower all collapse into nothing. Even great buildings erected without Him will crumble and serve no purpose. True blessing rests only with those who labour in dependence on God.
It is vain to rise early, toil late, or watch the city without the Lord. No matter how many watchmen stand guard, safety comes only when the Lord Himself watches, and He never sleeps or slumbers (Psalm 121:4). Therefore, the issue is not about working harder; it is about seeking God more.
When we depend on Him, He blesses His beloved even in their sleep. He gives strength, peace, and fruitfulness that human effort cannot achieve.
In this week’s message, Ps Ebenezer Olokode explores what dependency on God truly means. He highlights the futility of labouring independently of God, emphasises His sovereignty and sufficiency, and shares practical ways to cultivate complete reliance on Him.
Let us choose dependence on God. Only then will our labour bear eternal fruit.

Join Us
We meet in person at the All Nations’ Centre, Tyers Terrace, London SE11 5LY. You are very welcome to join us. All our Sunday Services start at 9.30 am. The doors open at 8.30 am, and the prayer service begins at 9 am. The All Nations’ Centre is where the community meets with God as a congregation. Please help us to make it a welcoming environment for all.
There are many advantages to meeting together. As the writer of the book of Hebrews writes, “And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.” (Hebrews 10:24-25) Do not miss this opportunity to meet and encourage your brothers and sisters! Often, we provide personal ministry and one-to-one encounters. Do not miss the opportunity to meet with God and be transformed.
