Theme: Be Strong in the Lord – How do you practically stand firm in the Lord? Consider the strength of Joseph in the face of life-changing adversity.
Key scripture: Colossians 2:1-15
Joseph was enslaved but eventually ruled Egypt, except for the throne.
In our key scripture, Paul encourages us to go straight for Jesus; otherwise, we walk in our strength, which will always fail and weaken as we grow old. Jesus took everything that made us guilty and triumphed over it so that we could be free.
There is an aspect of life that stops us from living victorious.
The Bible show us the lives of the Israelites with all their warts on show. So much happened to Joseph from the time he was a small boy, from running from Laban to the day his brothers sold him into slavery. All of us have real issues. We sometimes feel like we cannot talk about them. But that’s not what Jesus wants for us.
What is the choice you make after hearing the word of God?
Do we allow Jesus to speak to us so that we are strengthened? Whatever our weaknesses, we need to put them at our feet and dominate them. God wants you to be whole, to walk free, and to feel free.

We Are Stronger Together
We meet in person at the All Nations’ Centre, Tyers Terrace, London SE11 5LY. You are very welcome to join us. All our Sunday Services start at 9.30 am. The doors open at 8.30 am, and the prayer service begins at 9 am. The All Nations’ Centre is where the community meets with God as a congregation. Please help us to make it a welcoming environment for all.
There are many advantages to meeting together. As the writer of the book of Hebrews writes, “And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.” (Hebrews 10:24-25) Do not miss this opportunity to meet and encourage your brothers and sisters! Often, we provide personal ministry and one-to-one encounters. Do not miss out on an opportunity to meet with God and be transformed. Do not miss out!
