The Things that hold us Together

The Things That Hold Us Together

Theme: Ties that Bind –  What are the things that hold us together? As we gather for the last in-person server before the refurbishment, Pastor Abraham Sackey gives us reasons to think about what will cause us to stick together as a congregation. Things like Words of Prophecy and loyalty can hold us together if we let them. Therefore it is that choice that will bring us peace. This is in contrast to the things that call us away – the lions, the Sirens, and the dazzling sights that we destroy relationships and shipwreck faith? Sermon notes are available.

Last In-Person Service

Today’s service, being the last service before the building is closed for refurbishment, was very well attended. We traditionally celebrated communion. After the sermon, Pastor Emmanuel Mbakwe revealed the prophetic word spoken to the leadership during the pre-service prayer:

“There is a journey ahead; I know the Journey; I designed the journey.” There will be challenges and obstacles ahead, but God says, “Follow Me! Put your trust in Me, and I will lead you safely through!” – Prophetic Word.

Together we declared to God: “I will trust in you, I will follow you, and You will safely lead me through. You are not a man that You should lie or the son of man that You should repent. Will You not do it. Have You spoken, and You will not make it good?” Psalm 84:5-7 was declared over the congregation, and you are invited to make the same declarations over your life.

If you are concerned about your spiritual life or lack of fellowship during the refurbishment, you are invited to join a local Cell Group in your area. If you have any other concerns or would like someone to contact you, please fill out the contact us form, and someone will get back to you. We are here for you!
