They thought it was all over

They Thought It Was All Over

Good Friday: They thought it was all over, but it’s Friday, and it’s all good. Are you in a situation where you are tempted to believe it’s all over? Are you facing pain, confusion, doubt, fear, anguish or uncertainty?

Key texts: Luke 23:26-49, John 20:19

The disciples had followed Jesus for three years. It started well. They bought into His message. They loved Him, and He loved them also. It continued through miracles and messages retold over the last two thousand years.

When something goes so well, you do not want the good times to end. Yet, to get to the mountain tops, you need to travel through the valleys. The life of a follower of Jesus is filled with many good things, yet, as believers, we must be prepared for the dark times. When they hit, how do we get through them? They Thought It Was All Over

Join Our God-Dependent Family

We meet in person at the All Nations’ Centre, Tyers Terrace, London SE11 5LY. You are very welcome to join us. All our Sunday Services start at 9.30 am. The doors open at 8.30 am, and the prayer service begins at 9 am. The All Nations’ Centre is where the community meets with God as a congregation. Please help us to make it a welcoming environment for all.

There are many advantages to meeting together. As the writer of the book of Hebrews writes, “And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.” (Hebrews 10:24-25) Do not miss this opportunity to meet and encourage your brothers and sisters! Often, there is personal ministry and one-to-one encounters. Do not miss out!
