Theme: Let Us Pray – Prayer stands as a key spiritual exercise that Christians practise, and the words ‘prayer’, ‘pray’ or ‘praying’ appear more than 250 times in the Bible. Yet, although prayer is so fundamental and essential, many believers still neglect this vital discipline.
Charles Spurgeon said that the goal of prayer is the ear (meaning the attention) of God. Unless we gain His attention, the prayer has failed. Therefore, this year and beyond, we want to reach the place where God responds to our prayers. Praying with the spirit and with understanding gets God’s attention.
