Let Us Pray

Theme: Let Us Pray For the month of January, we focus on the theme Let Us Pray, found in Acts 2:42. Let us pray calls us to action and, at the same time, calls us to obey God’s word. This week, Ps Abraham Sackey turns our attention to 1 Timothy 2:8: “I desire that the men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.”

As we step into a New Year, we remind ourselves where the power of every Christian truly lies. It lies in the place of prayer. However, many drift into places God never intended for His people and even grow cold or contemptuous toward prayer. Yet it is in prayer, in communion with God, where we submit to Him and renew our commitment to live according to His will. Consequently, lawlessness loses its grip.

In this earnest message, Pastor Sackey urges us to look deeply within and recognise where we drifted from our love for prayer. He encourages us to pray for ourselves so we draw closer to God and renew daily fellowship. He also calls us to pray for our families, for our church so the power of God flows among us when we gather, for our communities, and for the world; especially in light of the chaos we see today. God calls us to a place of spontaneous, combustible prayer that ignites those around us.

If you are looking for opportunities to join in corporate prayer, you can log on to our weekly Saturday Morning Prayer Meeting which runs  from 8 – 10 am or our monthly War Room.

Let Us Pray

Join Us

We meet in person at the All Nations’ Centre, Tyers Terrace, London SE11 5LY. You are very welcome to join us. All our Sunday Services start at 9.30 am. The doors open at 8.30 am, and the prayer service begins at 9 am. The All Nations’ Centre is where the community meets with God as a congregation. Please help us to make it a welcoming environment for all.

There are many advantages to meeting together. As the writer of the book of Hebrews writes, “And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.” (Hebrews 10:24-25) Do not miss this opportunity to meet and encourage your brothers and sisters! Often, we provide personal ministry and one-to-one encounters. Do not miss the opportunity to meet with God and be transformed.
