Theme: Teaching and Admonishing One Another in Psalms and Hymns and Spiritual Songs – Are you aware of music’s purpose and power? What does a people empowered by music bring to the place they inhabit?
We need our songs to have their connection to the Word of Power. Many songs in Christendom today are pleasing to the ear but have no connection back to the word of God. When you hear a song that does, it stays with you for days after hearing it.
Key Scriptures: 2 Kings 3:15, Acts 16:25-26, 1 Samuel 16:14-24
It is well known that music can transform moods. It is used to reduce incidents of aggression. Music is powerful. The right music will trigger godly transformation. Much of today’s music does the opposite. Ask the Lord to help us choose the correct songs to trigger transformation in our spirits. However, we are not the only beneficiaries. The correct music benefits the singer/player and also the people around us.

Sermon Notes
Purpose, People, Place and Power
We are meeting in person at the All Nations’ Centre, Tyers Terrace, London SE11 5LY. You are very welcome to join us. All our Sunday Services start a 9.30 am. The doors open at 8.30 am, and the prayer service begins at 9 am. The All Nations’ Centre is where the community meets with God as a congregation. Please help us to make it a welcoming environment for all.
There are many advantages to meeting together. As the writer of the book of Hebrews writes, “And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.” (Hebrews 10:24-25) Do not miss this opportunity to meet and exhort your brothers and sisters!
